What Happens If Your Account Becomes Past Due

What to expect if a payment goes unresolved, and how to avoid service interruption.

Quick Answer
If invoices go unpaid, you'll receive repeated reminders to update your payment method. If the balance
remains unresolved for 5 consecutive months, your account is closed and everything — your website,
forms, and lead access — is taken offline.

The reminder process

As soon as a payment attempt fails, we begin sending automated reminders asking you to update your card
(see "How to Update Your Payment Method or Fix a Declined Card"). These reminders continue on a
recurring basis while the balance is outstanding.

What happens over time

An unpaid balance does not immediately affect your website or leads. However, if the account remains
unpaid for 5 months, it is closed and all associated services — your website, lead forms, and My Leads
access — are taken offline.

How to avoid this

• Update your card as soon as you receive a payment-failure notice.
• If you're facing a temporary hardship, reach out to your success manager before the balance ages —
they may be able to work out a plan with you.
• If you no longer want the service, request a cancellation rather than letting the account lapse into nonpayment — see "How to Cancel Your Subscription."
