Time for the fun part - design. This is when you get to play with not only the copy on your rebel Path, but the look and feel of it as well.
If you’re not on the step already, select the STEP 2 - DESIGN tab at the top-left of your editor.
Check out the sections below for information on the settings in STEP 2.
- Edit the Copy & Content
- Add Images
- Add Video
- Add Content Block
- Customize Colors & Appearance
- Customize your CTA Buttons
Don’t forget, you can also click the tooltip icons throughout for additional help and quick videos on each setting.
When you’re done, click SAVE & CONTINUE to go to STEP 3 - SETTINGS.
Edit the Copy & Content
Ok. This is the big one. The bread and butter of your rebel Path.
Technically, you can edit the copy and content for your rebel Path at any point throughout every step, but we think it’s best to do it now in STEP 2 after you decide on your style and location.
Editing the copy is easy. The right side of your editor works as a WYSIWYG editor (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) just like you’ve used to create your Lead Forms
That means you can click the part of the rebel Path you want to edit, and make your changes as you’re viewing it.
When you click an element, you’ll see formatting options similar to when you’re creating Extra Content for our Lead Forms.
This includes:
- Font Type
- Font Size
- Font Color
- Font Background Color
- Text Alignment
- Line Height
- Bullet or Numbered Spacing
- Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough Styling
For Omni Bars and Full Pages, additional options include:
- Emoticons
- Font Awesome Icons
- Link to a Phone Number
- Link to a URL
- Animated arrows
They’re all just as easy to include by clicking the option on your WYSIWYG editor.
And let’s not forget about your CTA buttons! Click your CTA button for all the same edit options as well as settings for:
- Button height
- Button width
- Button radius
- Button shadow
All this and we haven’t even added images yet. Whew.
Add Images
Images are a great and easy way to grab the attention of your visitors. Show them what they’ll get if they click through. Sell them the life you can offer with an eye-catching image.
You can only add images to Omni Bars and Full Pages. The Lead Pack gives you the option of adding your picture or logo, but we’ll get to that later.
To add an image:
- Click the Insert Image option on the text editor
- Use one of the three options to insert it by uploading it, by URL, or browsing the internet.
While our editor can handle images up to 5MB, you want to keep them much smaller than that if possible to reduce load time of your rebel path. No one likes to wait around for images to process.
Once you insert your image, you have a few more settings to choose:
- Horizontal alignment
- Display Inline vs Break Text
- Rounded vs Bordered vs Shadow Border
- Alternative Text
You can resize your image by dragging the corners of it or using the Change Size setting to enter a specific px width and height.
Add Video
What’s better than images, but videos! And there’s plenty of stats to support it. People love consuming short, sweet, and engaging videos, so if you have one you love, you should include it.
You can include them on Omni Bars and Full Pages. It’s as easy as adding an image.
To add a video:
- First, learn how to optimize your video for a rebel Path.
- When you have your video, click the Insert Video option on the text editor.
- Either paste in a link to the video or add the embedded code for it.
If you use a link, you can set it to Autoplay.
Once you insert your video, hover over it to see the other settings you can choose from:
- Horizontal alignment
- Display Inline vs Break Text
Resizing your video is the same as resizing images: drag the corners of it to your preferred size or use the Change Size setting to enter a specific px width and height.
Add a Content Block
One last big copy and content option to mention - the Content Block for Full Pages.
Since Full Pages are, as the name suggests, the size of a full page, we gave you the option for adding an additional Content Block in addition to your CTA text and button elements. It gives you more flexibility and room to add content.
To add a Content Block to your Full Page, go back to the STEP 1 tab, scroll down to the CTA Button section, and select the Add Content Block option.
From there, you can click into the Content Block on the editor and add anything we discussed in the last three sections. Your options are kind of endless.
Customize Colors & Appearance
In addition to all the copy and content you can edit, you can also change the colors and appearance of your rebel Path in the Customize rebel Path Appearance section.
Some of the settings will depend on the style of your rebel Path, but overall, you get to customize:
- Background Color
- Text Color
- Border Color
- Border Size
- Shadow Opacity (Omni Bar and Lead Pack only)
- Overall size (Omni Bar and Lead Pack only)
To change any of the colors, you can enter the HEX code directly or click the color and use the Color Picker to select it from a spectrum.
HEX codes are great if you already have specific brand colors. Color Pickers are awesome if you’re still exploring your style.
Customize CTA Buttons
Same goes for your CTA buttons as far as color options.
From the Customize CTA Buttons section, you can select:
- Button Color
- Button Text Color
- Button Border Color
To change a color, enter the HEX code directly or click the color and use the Color Picker to select it from a spectrum.
If you want to use the same settings for all your CTA buttons, click the lock button shown below.
